This website has been designed in accordance with the requirements of the Barrier-Free Accessibility Act (BFSG), the Ordinance on Accessibility Requirements for Products and Services (BFSGV) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at conformity level A and AA. 

We, DC Aviation GmbH, strive to make our website accessible to all people, regardless of limitations, and to provide easy access to our content. We endeavour to make content that has already been published accessible in accordance with Section 1 (4) BFSG and are therefore constantly developing our online offering to include accessibility criteria. 
 

General description of the service

Our website provides you with information about the services we offer and allows you to submit booking or service enquiries using contact forms. Our range of services includes aircraft management, aircraft maintenance, direct charter flight offers (executive charter), ground handling services and aircraft handling, as well as consulting services in the field of business aviation.

Applicable requirements

The accessibility requirements for our website https://www.dc-aviation.com.mt are based on the Barrier-Free Access Act (BFSG), in particular § 14 BFSG in conjunction with § 3 (1) BFSG with reference to the Ordinance on the Barrier-Free Access Act (BFSGV). Not all content on our website falls within the scope of this law. However, we endeavour to make this content accessible as well.

Status of compliance with requirements

This website is almost fully compliant with the requirements of the BFSG and meets the essential requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), version 2.2 with compliance level A and AA. To ensure the accessibility of our website, we have implemented the following measures, among others:

Perceptibility:

  • Text alternatives: We have taken measures to transfer non-text content, such as images, into other forms of presentation and into text.
  • Multimedia content: Our website provides alternative forms of presentation in the form of subtitles for embedded media content such as videos.
  • Responsive design: Our website adapts to alternative display formats and to the device you are using without any loss of information.
  • Distinguishability: Content on our website is created in such a way that it is visually distinct from other content (colour, font size, contrast, subtle background).

Operability:

  • Keyboard navigation: The functions of our website can be used with the keyboard.
  • No complex movements: No gestures or simultaneous inputs are necessary.

Despite our ongoing efforts, the following elements of our website are not yet fully accessible:

  • Some of the PDF documents provided on our website are not yet fully accessible. These will be revised step by step.
  • Regarding the consent tool: Scrollable elements are not accessible via the keyboard

This content does not fall within the scope of the BFSG, as it is not directly related to the conclusion of a contract or the initiation of a contract with a consumer. Regardless of this, we are endeavouring to make these elements accessible in the future.
